Collaborative pianist, répétiteur, concert soloist

Alyssa Filardo is an American-Italian pianist based in Dublin, working across collaborative piano, opera répétiteur work, and solo performance. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, where she also concentrated in piano pedagogy.

Her career has taken her from Carnegie Hall to the stages of Munich, working as répétiteur and performer with Pasinger Fabrik Opera, at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt, and performing as concerto soloist with the Symphonieorchester des Kulturvereins Zorneding Baldham e.V. under conductor Andreas Pascal Heinzmann.

Since relocating to Ireland in 2021, Alyssa has built an active freelance practice as a collaborative pianist, accompanying singers and instrumentalists for competitions, examinations, masterclasses, and recitals throughout Dublin. She regularly accompanies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and has performed at both Whyte Hall (RIAM) and the National Concert Hall, including the main stage and the John Field Room.

In 2024, she joined Newpark Academy of Music as Artistic Director and Newpark Festival Co-Director, programming concerts, competitions, and educational offerings.
